After generating a creation you should see an order button. Review the production cost and the estimated production and shipping dates, and then click the order button. You can then specify the delivery address and see the total price including shipping.
Changed your mind? You can cancel the order and go back to editing at any time.
With our pricing we aim to be as fair and transparent as possible. You will pay only for the actual production costs and shipping which means that you have the costs fully under control yourself. If you're on a tight budget, then choosing a smaller size, thicker pens and maybe reduced saturation and blackness will help. If you want to go big, detailed and with intense colouring, then production costs are naturally higher.
Prices are calculated on-demand when you generate a creation. So you immediately see the effect of your choices.
We don't charge anything on top of production costs for the public, ready-to-order creations we provide ourselves. However, for creations offered by invited artists, the artists themselves choose a compensation for their professional creative work. This amount will be paid out to the artists directly.
Surface costs (e.g. for paper) are calculated per area. Ink/paint usage, too, and yes, per actual covered area; we did the math. A small margin is added to compensate for losses, for example when we can't use an almost empty, non-refillable pen.
Machine use is per time it takes to paint your creation. In most situations, this is the largest part of the costs. It strongly depends on the choices you make. To make sure the production is as cost-efficient as possible, we optimized the paths along which the machine moves and run the machine at the maximum speed without compromising quality.
Handling costs are costs related to changing pens, cutting paper, and similar procedures. Most of them are manual but we work on automating them, too - in order to make our lives easier and further lower the costs for you.
Shipping costs depend on the country you want your creation to be sent to. We produce in the Netherlands, so shipping within the Netherlands is cheapest. For each order and creation size we always pull the momentary lowest prices from PostNL, DPD, DHL, DHL Express, UPS and FedEx. You can choose your favourite shipping service from the available options. Packaging and handling is on us.
When you are ready, click on Pay to finalize your order. This will take you to a payment page of Mollie, our payment provider. It will offer you to select one of the payment methods that are available in your region. When the payment is successful you'll be taken back to your creation page with a confirmation of the payment. Or a checkout link you can click later if the payment was not successful or canceled.
Once paid, you will see a planned production date and an estimated shipping date. We will do our very best to get your creation to you asap. Once produced and carefully packaged you'll receive a track-and-trace link via email.
You can check the progress of your order in your account pages. Click the account icon in the top right corner and then go to Orders.
