The gallery is where you will find all creations of all categories, including your own. At the top right corner you can select the category you want to browse. "Personal" means your private creations which are only visible to yourself. If you change the mode to "multiple" you can browse and search multiple categories at the same time.
At the top left you'll find a search bar. Whenever you open the gallery you can just start typing and the search bar shows you the hits from the currently selected categories. Press enter to apply.
